Brooklyn, New York. April 15th 1868 S 221 R.F.A.L. Vol 12. 1868 Stovey, J. Henry #395 Felton St. Brooklyn Requests situation as Agent of Freedmans Bureau. States that he has served in the army since May 1862. Was commissioned to 2nd Lieut. 16th Infty Corps d'Afrique Oct 24th 1863, and mustered out Dec 28th 1867, as 2nd Lieut 120th U.S.C.
