Requests situation as Agent of Freedmans Bureau. States that he has served in the army since May 1862. Was commissioned to 2nd Lieut. 16th Infty Corps d'Afrique Oct 24th 1863, and mustered out Dec 28th 1867, as 2nd Lieut 120th U.S.C. Troops after nearly two years service in New Mexico.
