Dear Sir:
Your favor of the 3rd July is received asking information as to what progress has been made towards the erection of a school house on my farm towards which the Bureau contributed assistance.
In reply I beg leave to report as follows. —
In consequence of its being Harvest Season it has been found difficult to put the building in process, of construction earlier than it has been. The excavation has been made and the foundation is in process of construction and without doubt will be completed next week. The carpenters contract has been
