Writes in behalf of Joseph Shafer guardian of Wm Bowman (whose case has been previously reported) States that Capt Sweeny gave as note for $2,000 in return for money deposited with him by Napolean Bowman (deceased) and in payment of said note gave a mortgage on his property in Helena, which is already mortgaged to its full extent States that the property will soon be sold and asks if it cannot be postponed until the Country recuperates a little, when the property will be sufficient to meet all the mortgages.
