to have a "continuation of Bruce" (Vol 1 Pg 34 L 1 & 2) Kennedy adds that "he told Maj Roberts that in his opinion the trouble came from Dr. Bell" (Vol 1 Pg 34. L 9 to 14) Kennedy then adds the following, "That day I received a call from several medical men, (Dr R.C.C. Jones, Dr. T.J. Griffith, Dr. George Griffith & Dr. Lytton, all of highest loyalty, who assured me that "our friend" Bruce was being kicked out of the Hosp'l because he had displeased Dr Bell, and asked what should be done about the circumstances. "I advised all parties, to keep quiet in the matter, that we could get Bruce a situation, even better than the one he was being kicked out of." (Vol 1 Pg 34. L 14 to 24) and he adds "I therefore counselled quietness and consideration, sometime afterward, of about those days, the self same day, I mentioned to Bruce that whatever action was to be taken, it would be well, to have something from him in "black & white" as to his ideas in the whole matter" (Vol 1 pp 35 L 3 to 8)
