not talk so to me I said that is not love it is indecency, he then let me go. He came again March 3rd I was washing myself & told Jimmie to lock the door. Maj. Roberts said open the door or I will break it open. I will never come again if you don't open it, I then put a dress around my shoulders, opened the door & I said why did you not wait until I was dressed. He said we have been drinking milk punch. And I feel good, I want to kick up a row, I said I am going down town. He said would you meet me at the P.O. I declined, He tried to pull the dress from my shoulders; He called the next week & said, I want you to tell Bruce you are going to Mrs. Nugents. And then meet me at the corner of 10th & Chestnut Streets. I asked for what. He said to go where we can enjoy ourselves. I said you don't mean an assignation house. No not exactly, he said but where we can enjoy ourselves. Most respectable ladies have gentlemen friends I said I don't want any of your friends. He said no harm, no one here will know it.
