Comment is unnecessary, In fine Maj Roberts conducted himself in this matter in an exceedingly foolish & indiscreet manner, but the proper time for Mr Bruce to prefer this charge was at the date when the acts occurred. Charge Third 
"Is in these words, "I, Bruce am well aware in order to obtain the position of Sub. Asst. Comr. Maj Roberts uses dishonorable and underhand influence to have Gen'l Frederick relieved and ordered to his Regiment"
