Q.R. Name the parties and their political status, who drank?
A. Dr Benson, twice Dr Frazer once, Mr Speer, once or twice. He visited here frequently with Dr Bell. It was Govt whisky. Occasionally Egg nog. It was taken from shelf in Drug Store. 

Q Did you ever see Dr Bell drunk?
A No sir, never.

Q Did you ever see him drink
A Once or twice I think, cant state number of times. Had a good time. Whisky pretty free. Cadets drank also

Q When was this?
A During Lecture Season. During lectures by Dr Benson, in February and 1st March I think. 

Q Did you ever aid or abet the rebellion in word or act?
A No sir.

Q Is there any any ill feeling between you and Dr Bell?
A None sir

Q Have you named all the persons you ever saw drink in the Hospital?
A No sir. But all whose names I remember. Served 4 years in the Union Army, am a Radical
