Q. What is your name, age, and occupation?
A Thos B. Davis, 23 years, Medical Student.
Q. State all you know about the drinking of [[left margin]] 5 [[/left margin]] Gov't Whisky in Hosp'l of Bureau R.F. & A.L.

A I was engaged in the dispensary under Dr Octerlony down town, and frequently went to the Hosp'l to attend [[left margin]] 10 [[/left margin]] lectures, and also on business, as near as I can say, not more than a half gallon, drank together, and a part of this was bought by Dr. Boemonds and Dr Roberts.
Q Did you ever see Dr Bell invite anyone to drink Gov't liquor?
A [[left margin]] 15 [[/left margin]] No sir, I think not.

Q  What is your name, age and occupation?
A. R.B. Gilbert, 24, Student of Medicine.
Q  Who gave the order not to issue Gov't [[left margin]] 20 [[/left margin]] Whisky except on prescription?

A  When first coming into the office of Druggist, not knowing the rules. I issued a little whisky without prescription. Dr Bell finding it out, ordered me to issue no more [[left margin]] 25 [[/left margin]] which order I faithfully obeyed until I was [[left margin]] 26 [[/left margin]] relieved, which was 15th of June.
