Q Did not Steward Cahill inform you, when you relieved him, that the order was to issue no whisky, Except on prescription? 
A Yes, but occasionally I prescribed it [[note]] 5 [[/note]] myself for patients, who came in complaining of cramps, on one occasion General Frederick came in saying he felt bad and was used to it, and I gave him a little. Dr Boemond also came in [[note]] 10 [[/note]] sometimes. And prescribing for himself would take a drink. 
Q Did you ever see Dr Bell drink any as a beverage?
A No Sir.
