Dear Mr. Seligman:

Thank you very much both for your telegram and your letters. And thanks also for your very great help in this matter of our exhibition. I hope it will be a good show, although it will not be as striking as the other shows I am now preparing here. 

We have given as a credit line to each of the four watercolors: "Lent by Mr. and Mrs. Germain Seligman." Your letter of September 8 arrived in time for us to change the size of the Gustave Doré.
