MUSEUM OF ART
THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN
ALUMNI MEMORIAL HALL ANN ARBOR

April 11, 1963

Mr. Germain Seligman
5 East 5th Street
New York 22, New York

Dear Germain:
It was very pleasant to see you last week and see as well the treasures you showed me.

I have now received the three photographs you sent to the Museum. The Maillol pamphlet is, as I suggested, of interest to us and the drawing will be considered as a purchase possibility. The two wooden Canephors which so intrigued me are probably not for this collection as we agreed, but I am grateful to have the photographs and will keep them here a bit longer so that I may show them to a few people who have a continuing interest in the field of their special reference. There is at least one collector of Art Nouveau in Ann Arbor.

Many thanks once more for the very enjoyable luncheon and the instructive afternoon. I hope that we will be able to get together soon again.

Warmest regards,
Sam
