5 East 57th Street
New York 22, New York

Dear Mr. Seligman:

Thank you very much for your letter of January 30th and for the time and trouble you have taken in assembling for us the pamphlet and photographs on the "Tabernacle" by Tullio Lombardi. I have just had an opportunity to review this in some detail with Professor Eisenberg and I am sure that he will want to see it when he is in New York in the latter part of March.

I intend also to show it to our Executive Committee when they meet again at the end of this month. Because of current financial conditions in our State, however, I am afraid that there is little likelyhood that we can give serious consideration to its acquisition in the near future. If this proves to be the case, we will return the pamphlet to you following the meeting, for I am sure that you will want it for th ers who may be able to give it more immediate consideration.

With warm regards and sincere appreciation for your interest,
Cordially,
Charles Sawyer
