New York 22, New York April 14, 1959 Dear Mr. Sawyer: Following your pleasant letter of February 13th I had made a note to expect Professor Eisenberg "in the latter part of March" who, as you wrote, would drop in at my galleries to look at the Tullio Lombardi bas-relief. Noticing that we are now in the middle of April, I was wondering whether through some bad luck I had missed his visit for which I would feel very sorry were this the case. On the other hand, his planned trip East might of course have been simply postponed. I know of your real interest in this truly lovely and rare work of art, and am wondering, therefore, whether I can expect Professor Eisenberg's call at some later date. It would be a pleasure to show him this sculpture for I gather he must be a scholar in that field. With personal regards, Germain Seligman Mr. Charles H.
