Dear Mr. Sawyer,
Your good lines of February 24th make me feel indeed very happy, and I am delighted to learn that your Executive Committee has decided to purchase the Champleve pla ue.

As I told you in the course of your pleasant visit, I consider it as a lovely example of this early technique of Champleve enamel and one which in view of its size and condition has become a rare item.

As per your request, you will find herein in duplicate my firm;s invoice in the amount of $3000 (three thousand dollars), covering your acquisition.

With personal regards,
Sincerely yours,
Germain Seligman
