May 16th., 1950

Dear Mr. Wethey:
Your letter of May 12th., to Mr. Seligman arrived just in time to be read before his departure for Europe.

He is most grateful for the opinion your expressed from the photograph of the painting and is sorry he will not be in New York during your June visit.

However, as Mr. Seligman is most anxious to have you see the painting itself, would you give me the opportunity of showing it to you then? It would be a pleasure, and in the Fall, Mr. Seligman would like to take advantage of a trip to Detroit to meet you and thank you personally for your kindness.

Yours very sincerely,
(Mrs. T.D. Parker)

Professor Harold E. Wethey,
