My dear Mr. Slusser:

We have heard with the greatest interest, through Mrs. May Brown, of the creation of your new museum.

We wish to put ourselves at your disposal and hope that during your next stay in our city, you will accept our cordial invitation to come to our gallery.

When you do pay us that visit, we will be happy to show you not only the group of Contemporary American artists we represent, but also French paintings and drawings of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as paintings, drawings, and works of art of previous periods.

Hoping that you will soon do us the favor of dropping in and give us the pleasure of meeting you,

Very sincerely yours,

(Georges E. Seligmann)
