Dear Mrs. Wiener,

Ever so many thanks for your pleasant lines of May 2nd, from which I was glad to read of your comments referring to the Siquieros Exhibition in Mexico.

As long as you intend going to Mexico in the very near future, may I ask you to be good enough to express my surprise at not having received a catalogue of the exhibition, as is customary for lenders. Also that I had not been notified of the extension of the exhibition. Papers to that effect will, you write, be mailed shortly, and of course with them should be the confirmation that the insurance will be extended accordingly.

You write that the painting would be returned by the end of July. As me galleries will be closed until the beginning of September, and Mrs. Seligman and I will be out of town until that date, would it be imposing upon you to hold the painting back until the first days of September ?

I am looking forward to receiving the clippings and do have my appreciation of this kind gesture on your part, as well as of your spirit of cooperation.

With all good wishes,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
