Dear Jim:

I am glad to have an opportunity to write you and to say that I hope Bob's having given up the art world won't stop you from dropping in here whenever you are in town.

Did Bob tell you about the three famous colored drawings by SEURAT which the Museum of Modern Art, N.Y., has given us for sale? You know them very well of course - however, should you wish to refresh your memory you will find them reproduced under Nos. 57, 58 and 59 in the catalogue of the Lillie P. Bliss Collection (Museum of Modern Art).

I don't know of course whether your museum has funds for such purchases but I feel sure that you would want to be posted about them, and even enjoy looking at them at leisure.

Do drop me a note telling me when you will be in town.

With kind regards,
Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
