Mr. Germain Seligmann,
c/o Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc.,
3 East 51st St.,
New York City

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

You must by this time have thought that I had wholly forgotten your proposed sale of my Stuart portrait of George Facius. As a matter of fact I have not forgotten it but am now making my plans to have Frazer & Walker call for the painting tomorrow morning. They will probably pack it tomorrow and ship it either late tomorrow or some time Saturday. I have arranged to have the painting covered with $8000 insurance until it gets into your hands and should like to know in detail what kind of insurance you carry in New York.

Yours very truly,
WS. Appleton
