Dear Mr. Siple:

I wish to thank you for your letter of yesterday’s date, giving me the addresses of the Cincinnati artists.

I have told Mrs. Parker, who is now in charge of our Contemporary American Department, to communicate with these people, but as she is leaving for Europe on Saturday, she possibly may not have time to do so until her return., which will be around the early part of September.

Again thanking you for your courtesy in this matter, and with my kindest regards, and trusting you will pass a pleasant summer, believe me to be

Yours very sincerely,
