Dear Miss Kirkwood:

These lines are just to acknowledge receipt of your letter of May 19th., with the material you were good enough to enclose. 

Answering your query, I do find all these documents most interesting and covering fully the subject. Should I, however, in the meantime find that I might need anything additional , I will not hesitate to call upon you as you so kindly suggest. 

I will, of course, do my best from this end, but as you know the New York papers are very independent and unpredictable.
