Dear Mr. Milliken:

Just a very little note to thank you for the promptness with which the check for $36,000., reached me, and for which I am enclosing an official receipt.

I am wondering whether you would care to have two or three colored reproductions of "Romaine Lacaux" which appeared in "Vogue" a little while ago. Though I feel that they were not very successful, you might like to have a couple for your files anyway.

I do hope that it won't be long before I shall have the pleasure of seeing you again. Are you by any chance coming to New York shortly?

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
