February 4th., 1942.

Dear Mr. Francis:

It is a very long time since I have had the pleasure of greeting you here - in fact, I am wondering whether you have seen our new "miniature" galleries. I hope therefore that you will put my name down on your list of visits when next you are coming to New York. The more so as I will be able to show you some recent purchases in the line of paintings and drawings, which I think you will enjoy looking at.

As you certainly know, a few months ago our friend Bob left not only the firm but the art world altogether. However when I saw him the other day, he hadn't yet decided on any new activity.

With personal regards,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
