Dear Dr. Milliken:

As the time for the publication of your October Bulletin approaches, we felt we would again ask you to confirm to us the exact date on which you plan to release - both in your Bulletin and to the Cleveland newspapers - the news of the acquisition of the "Monks" by your Museum.

Indeed, we are quite anxious, as you will readily understand, to release this news to the New York papers and we wish to make sure that we will do this at the same time as you in Cleveland.

From what I understand, you had the opportunity of seeing Dr. Frankfurter this summer. We have handed over to him, as per your desire, your letter addressed to him and all the information concerning the "Monks" so that he could use this for publication in the "Art News". I suppose that you have decided upon a definite date with him, but if you wish us to transmit anything to him, we remain at your disposal.

Awaiting your kind answer to the above lines, and hoping that we shall often have the privilege of seeing you this winter,

Please believe me to be - as always,

Yours respectfully,

(C. M. de Hauke)

P.S. Please note that we have left our building at 3 East 51st Street. We plan to be very soon established in new premises more in keeping with present European circumstances, and as soon as we are sure of our new address, we shall immediately take pleasure in communicating it to you. In the meantime, our mail address is: 57 West 58th Street.
