Mr. C. M. de Hauke,
c/o Jacques Seligmann and Company, Inc.,
3 East 51st Street,
New York, New York.

My dear Mr. de Hauke:

I am simply thrilled over securing the two figures for $27,500.00. I have turned the matter over to Mr. Williams to notify Mr. Francis on Monday or Tuesday so the check should be sent to you by the middle of next week.

I am leaving Monday for conventions and meetings at Toledo, Detroit and Washington; in the week of the 28th I shall be in New York for two or three days and, if you are still there, I shall be able to express to you personally my gratification for this superb addition to our collection.

Very sincerely yours,
