Dear Miss Foote:

It was a great pleasure to have been introduced to you by Mr. Milliken, and I wish to congratulate you again on the acquisition for the Museum of that marvelous pair of silver candelsticks.

Just for your pleasure and information, I am enclosing herewith photograph of a pair of Empire silverware. I feel that in this particular field and period, they are an outstanding "reussite" and I am sure that you will enjoy seeing this photograph. Would you be kind enough to return it to me at your earliest convenience, as it is part of my personal records.

With best wishes,

Please believe me to be

Yours respectfully,
