November 19, 1952

Dear Henry:

In the course of your good letter of October 25, you mentioned Mr. Milliken's intention of calling the Redons to the attention of your trustees at a meeting to take place on November 5.

Not having heard further from you on this subject I was wondering whether these pastels had not been taken into consideration by your board.

Of course since then you told me of the sad reason for Mr. Milliken's sudden trip to New York, which might have caused the meeting to be postponed. Were this the case please do keep the Redons until it takes place, as planned previously.

Realizing only too well how in view of the exceptional activities of your museum you have many other matters on your mind I am sending you these few lines to remind you.

I also recall your intention of coming to New York towards the end of this month and do hope it will not be long now until I will have the greet pleasure of seeing you again.

With kind thoughts,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)
