June 4th., 1952.

Dear Mr. Francis:

I have just realized, to my very great dismay, that your kind and helpful lines of May 19th, have remained without an acknowledgement.

A copy has been sent to Mr. Seligman in Europe, however. Perhaps as you suggest, he may be able to contact Mr. Hoogendijk, and if so, solve the riddle of the drawings on the reverse of the "Saddled Horse", by Delacroix.

You mention being curious as to our price - we are asking Fifteen Hundred Dollars.

With renewed appreciation,

Yours very sincerely,

Mrs. T. D. Parker
in the absence of Mr. Seligman.
