Dear Mr. Milliken:

It was of course a great disappointment to receive your note of November 30, advising me that you could not purchase the gold plaque, especially as I had hoped you would find the period and workmanship of such interest that it would remain among your treasures.

To answer your question about shipping it back would you be so good as to send it by air mail, registered? My firm is taking care of the insurance.
