Dear Mr. Seligman:

I have your very kind letter and as I was away for two days, the acknowledgement was delayed. It was so good of you sending me one of the first catalogues. I am delighted to have it and it has come out beautifully. I am looking forward to hearing Henry Francis' description of the exhibition, he returned just as I left the city.

It is good news about the reduced cost. In these days the cost usually soars and I am always glad when it is so much less.

I quite understand the problem of framing and we will leave that matter open until exhibition is closed, that will also permit a calm consideration of all the points you bring up.

The problem of our bookkeeping will not be serious as we can carry the matter over into 1952 because, the expense of the exhibition is being paid by Hanna Fund. If, however, you should want a payment on account so that you will not bear the full cost of financing during this period, please let me know and we will forward a check for the amount at once.

I will write you further after I talk with Mr. Francis on the other matters.

It was very nice seeing you both in Pittsburgh. I'm sorry it was only for a moment.

Ever sincerely,
