Dear Henry:

At the suggestion of Mr. Edward B. Greene, I am taking the great liberty of addressing to you at the museum, one of my lovely little LAGNEAU drawings, which Mr. Greene wishes to consider purchasing. I do hope this will not seem an imposition, or draw too heavily on kindness.

So that you will be fully informed, I am attaching a copy of my letter to Mr. Greene and the description. I believe and hope you will agree with the "note" at the bottom of the letter, namely that it is undoubtedly of the same group as those in the Château de Chantilly.

In this instance too, the outcome can be addressed to Mrs. Parker who will be in constant touch with me.

Once more, my very best wishes for a pleasant summer,

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman.
