October 12th., 1956.

Dear Mr. Brown:

Thank you for your cheering words of the 9th. Actually I lost my place at one point and never found it again, so have come to the conclusion that Braille is a must for such occasions, to anyone who needs glasses for reading. Your presence was far more comforting than you will ever realize.

Every moment of my short stay was, nevertheless, delightful and I am most happy to have been invited.

As you thoughtfully mention expenses, I shall take that matter up with our accounting department.

Before closing I have three wishes - to extend my thanks to Mr. Perrot for his warm reception, to congratulate you on having sought out so remarkable a human being as Dr. Ven for Corning's school system, and to convey Mr. Seligmann's best wishes, to which I add my own.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker.
