CORNING GLASS WORKS
CORNING, NEW YORK

JAMES M. BROWN III
DIRECTOR, DIVISION OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS

October 9, 1956

Mrs. Theresa Parker
Jacques Seligmann and Company
5 East 57th Street
New York, New York

Dear Mrs. Parker:

I want to thank you for your generosity in coming to Corning to discuss with us those ways in which we could improve our operations.

I do think that your detailed remarks were most valuable to us. Your very diplomatic reminder that perhaps museum people could improve their business manners was very much to the point and I hope that it will do some good.

If you would care to send me a statement of your expenses, we would be very pleased to reimburse you. [] Wed- []

With many thanks again and all best wishes, I am,

Most sincerely,

James M. Brown

P.S. I have written to Mrs. Slivka suggesting that perhaps she might want to take the subject matter of the panel and develop it into an editorial for "Craft Horizons". We will see what happens.
