AN INVITATION . . . and a request

On September 17th we will send you a copy of the final program for the Tenth Annual Meeting of the Northeast Museum Association. I believe you have already received from Professor Walter Long an announcement of the event to be held on October 4th, 5th and 6th here in Corning. We will include in the program several new films and also plan to leave sufficient time for tours of the Center and other points of interest.

In planning the program, we have taken a workshop approach to various aspects of museum administration. For example, we thought an open discussion of various immediate and pressing problems facing us all would prove a very stimulating morning program on Friday.

To provide raw material for this program we would like you to note on the enclosed sheet and return to us as soon as possible your most pressing museum problem. On the enclosed reservation form please indicate your preference as to accommodations. Both the "problem" sheet and the reservation form may be returned to us in the enclosed envelope.

It is our sincere hope that you will be able to join us on October 4th.

With all best wishes, I am,

Cordially,
James M Brown
