into Egypt by Lucas van Valckenborch, Flemish, late 16th century; adoration of the child, Cosimo Rosselli, Italian, 15th century; the Holy family, Bartolomeo Cavarozzi, Italian, early 17th century; the Virgin, Child and Saint Anne, from the Florentine school of the mid-14th century; Virgin, Child and saints, Polidoro Lanziani, Italian, mid-16th century.

Among the enamels is a scene of the Annunciation and Nativity, Limoges enamel, late 15th century; the flight into Egypt, Limoges, early 16th century; and Virgin surrounded by symbols of the litany, Pierre Reymond, French, early 16th century.

A particularly interesting work is the altar frontal embroidery of Florentine design, mid-16th century.  Also included is a drawing depicting the flight into Egypt by Lelio Orsi, Italian, 16th century.  An illuminated manuscript made on vellum in 1450 contains 79 miniatures of Biblical scenes and another book printed in Paris in 1509 contains wood cuts printed on vellum.

Throughout the period of the exhibition (December 15 to January 31), recorded music will be played in the galleries featuring medieval and Rennaissance Christmas music.
