Captain Samuel Walker of Knoxville has also strongly urged me to visit that town as soon as possible both on account of the readiness of the colored people to move on the Subject of a School and on account of the imprudent course pursued by a former Superintendent. I have written for transportation to Lt. Col. Church but am doubtful whether I ought not to have written to you
