Dear Sir:
Yours of the 1 inst of this month has been received; and in reply let me say that yesterday Mr. Porter called to see me, and informed me that on Saturday Mr. Brenner would go to Dandridge in company with him, (Porter) for the purpose of deeding those Lots. 
I gave him, in my judgement, the proper instructions how to have it deeded in trust for the people and their children, and I have no fear that he will not go ahead. He assures me that they will go on at once with the Building. 
My Teacher not having yet arrived, will prevent me from going to Mossy Creek tomorrow, as I had intended, to accompany Mrs. Brenner and Porter to Dandridge. But next week, Providence permitting, I shall go at all events; and will remain
