She left here this morning but she left not as other teachers have left followed by a grateful people but alone and despised.

She promised the School Board that when she went home and seen her father she would return with other teachers and carry on the Schools if they would get me out of the schools- and with this understanding they went about their dirty work but I am doing the board injustice only a part of the Board engaged in this work. 

P.M. I have just returned from my school room where I have first bid an affectionate farewell to 150 School Children that people did not want to Send to school nor did they want to come but they would come and I would go and teach them. 

I have closed Schools by instructions received from Cravath and will as soon as possible forward property and goods to the Fisk School. 

I expect to have nothing more to do with the Schools except by the
