It seems that Mr. Dillin has not taken that place of Mr. Cravath, after all. I can not imagine why.  I have until today so fully expected to return to Smyrna, that I am now in great perplexity what to do.  I left over a hundred dollars of furniture there which will be a great loss to me, if I can not dispose of it.
