Dear Bro,

Bro Douglas writes that certain churches will probably assume the salaries of himself and wife to return to Smyrna. I am glad of this & shall return them if salaries are earned. We have not a dollar in our treasury but are in debt several hundred. Our Agents are now doing better than ever but our subscriptions waning. We will do just as fast and far as business prudence will permit.

Most Truly Yours,
E.M. Cravath, Sec.
