Asks what suposition will be made of the inmate  of the Hospital at that place upon the expiration of the Bureau.
Thinks that from the [[?]] he occupies in the aforementioned Institute he could take Care of a majority of them at perhaps not more experience to the Genl than they [[?]]

L - with the remark that when in Richmond Jany last I saw Dr. White in reference to the matter within referred to, and am of the opinion that the Infirmary which he is in charge would be a most excellent place to transfer the inmates when the "Freedmens Hospital" at Richmond is [[?]] provided that the State or Municipal authorities would [[?]] the [[?]] for their care and treatment -
