The State of Alabama }
Hale County }

Before one Wm. T. Blackford Judge of the Court of Probate in and for said County and State personally appeared George M. Duskin Esq. who is personally known to me, who being by me first duly sworn deposes and says that he is, and has been personally acquainted with P. T. Wright for six or seven years, that said Wright sustains in this community and county an unblemished reputation for honesty and business integrity;- that during deponents acquaintance with him the said Wright has been a duly qualified and acting Justice of the Peace in and for said County of Greene (afterwards Hale,) and to his personal knowledge by virtue of his said office served as Beaura Agent for East Greene (organized during his service into "Hale County") from sometime during the year 1866 to sometime in January 1867, from which latter date until sometime in October 1867 he served as Special Agent of the Bureau for said portion of Greene County, now Hale County, and that such service was quite extensive in its operations and deponent believes was performed faithfully and conscientiously and acceptably to the Government and the People. ~
