0556 one October 9th 1868, WT Blackford Judge of Probate Mr Duskin - Esqr is our present Solicitor, and a good Union Republican and one of the first men in the state was elected by a large majority to the office he at present holds being on the Republican ticket Respctfuly WT Blackford Judge of Probate The State of Alabama} Hale County} Before me William T Blackford Judge of the Court of Probate in and for said County and sate personally appeared Joseph Atkins, Druggist, who is personally known to me, who being by me first duly sworn deposes and says that he has read over carefully the foregoing testimony of George M. Duskin, and that he concurs fully and unqualifiedly in the statements therein made in connection with P.T. Wright and his service in the Bureau Agency at this place. Joseph Atkins Sworn to and Subscribed} before me this 9th day} of October 1868.} WT Blackford Judge of Probate Mr J. Atkins is a Druggist in our town and his store was next door to Mr PT Wright office Mr Atkins is a reliable Sevt and was fully cognizant of the facts sworn to by him Respectfully WT Blackford Judge of Probate
