The BUILDING is situated in a quiet yet central part of the city, surrounded by ample ornamental grounds, and of convenient access to all the business centres, depots, &c. Erected for its present use in 1861, it is one of the finest and best appointed in the country, with large and well ventilated Wards and Private Rooms furnished with all the comforts of a private residence. Suitable accommodations and experienced Nurses provided for Women during Confinement. 
CHARGES: 
[INCLUDING BOARD, MEDICAL ATTENDANCE AND MEDICINE.] 
LARGE WARDS, per week, (invariably in advance,) - $ 6 00
PRIVATE ROOMS, per week, (invariably in advance,) - $10 00 to $20 00
A small additional fee is charged for Surgical Operations. 
Every person, corporation or firm, who shall annually pay two hundred dollars, shall be entitled to recommend one sick person to be supported at the Infirmary, without further charge, for fifty-two weeks in each year; and every person who shall annually pay sixteen dollars shall be entitled to recommend one sick person to be supported as aforesaid, for four weeks in each year.
