At the request of many White & Colored Citizens forwd affidavit of Prior Turner (Colored) who was assaulted by men in disguise, also encloses laws covering this case. States that it is impossible to get the civil authorities to present this case & Recommends that the complainant be furnished with an Attorney & that these papers be submitted to the President.
