both these schools during the present term, and shall visit them again on the 9th & 10th inst. There are other schools in Bradley & McMinn Co which I will endeavor to obtain reports from for December. 

The Communication from Asst Comrs Office dated Oct. 12th 1868, led me to suppose that I was relieved from any further duty with regard to schools, in consequence of its containing an order to send all records, not pertaining to the payment of bounties, to your office, on or after the 31st of October, therefore no effort was made to gather statistics for the November report, in the early part of the month and on receipt of your orders instructing me that I would be regained to sender school Reports as heretofore - or rather to give attention to the Schools for freedmen as heretofore I was in consequence of sickness unable to comply fully with your orders, hence the partial report submitted today.
