Respectfully returned to Bt. Lt. Col. C.E. Compton, Supt of Education, Nashville, Tenn. with the information that the Schools referred to within are all held in one building, the "Centenary Church", erected by the Methodist Episcopal Church (north) and now owned by the same. The school is known as the Centenary and Miss Kimble is the principle and Mrs Fulton and Miss Le Veer are assistant teachers. The Phoenix was built by the Bureau and donated to the City School board. The Lincoln by the American Miss. Society and now owned by them. The Collins Chapel by the Methodist Church (south) and owned by same. Orphan Asylum built by the Bureau and held by trustees under
