Sir:
I have the honor to return herewith enclosed the voucher of Alfred McKinney for the construction of the Freedmen's School-house at Rogersville Tenn. and request that the account be transferred to the accompanying blanks and returned to this office for approval.

In making out the new voucher please direct Mr McKinney, to specially mention, so many feet of lumber, at - per M., so many pounds of nails at - per pound., so many feet of scantling at - pr M. so many shingles or &c at - per 100, and so many days labor at - per diem, writing in the number as well as stating it in figures  If the labor was performed by a second party, sub-vouchers in duplicate will also be transmitted with the accounts.
