Thurs. P.M.

Dearest Polly -
Miss Logan is here! It has been only 3 hours & now she is reading aloud & Uncle Will looks peaceful & happy. I know he will be glad. Dr M[[?]] has just left, & I have him talking to him - he has put in a new tube which will be more comfortable they say - it has a

comfortable time with Bessie she told me every thing & surely you made a large mistake as to her intentions. I have not the patience to tell it all, but she was only trying to do what Uncle W. asked - It was his pride - he wanted to go with her because he tho't I was full & jan too. He insisted on her going to A.C. to look for a house - It was not fun for her at all, she puts it very differently! I am very much tired with all this fuss, & thankful it is over.
My dear love to Jan
