Christmas evening.
You have made a wonderful Xmas for us, Leilie dear, in spite of the wide waste of waters that rolls between us. What time & thought  you must have given to all the purechases & the packings & the sendings,- & all came out so beautifully,- nothing lost nor spoiled,- & all arriving just in the right moment.You thought of so many people! Gis almost to remarkable on a chrivesment in its way as your holing Journey. I suppose Aunt Eliza has told you the sale of the day-Aunt Emily & I only came home
from 1422 at tea time. I was presented with an
$11 unbrella , & she with a $ 12 jersey (?) in shipes, & a scrumptious & carles silk work bag. We had 6 pairs of people at table, 2 Keys, 2 Clays,2 Neills,2 Ritters,2 4305 Biddlos,& 2 1422 Biddlos
